So That Past Life Thing

responsetoregretFor reference of those not in the know, Vocaloid is a fandom about the mascots of a voice synthesizer program. (Which also involves other brands of voice synthesizers sometimes.) There is a gag comic that has a bunch of short stories that does throw out the idea that the Vocaloids are singing androids and that's the basis for Len.
But it's also possible to play the characters the Vocaloids 'play' in the songs they sing. Sometimes song series get so popular that they span more legitimate canon sources like The Evil Series did. (This fandom is crazy to follow.)
HOWEVER, I kind of like the android thing, but it also seemed like it'd be fun to play with the other Len's from his songs. Then the songs actually gave me a legitimate story thing to do this. This is Re_Birthday, part of the original Evil Series. With this and Message of Regret bring up this idea that the twins would meet again in another, happier life.
Then this theme keeps happening. A Faint Wish makes it really clear. And any time the twins have a real story song, like 90% of the time it ends in complete tragedy or would very easily go that way. But the Faint Wish also kind of implies that it's sort of a parallel timeline to a more positive timeline that Len ends up building. In New Millenium.
THAT TIMELINE IS WHAT THIS LEN IS. He reverted the end of the world, set up things for a nicer timeline, and then let him and Rin get reincarnated into singing robots. But one doesn't go messing around with time like that without getting a few marks and it doesn't help with all the OTHER STUFF that's been attached to his soul over time. (He's got traces of everything.)
As such, after a trigger of finding an old artifact from a past life (the locket from the Evil series Len), it triggered a memory regression. So sometimes he'll be possessed by the memories of a past life and be THAT Len for a time.
Len thinks this is an error in his coding, but the only place he hasn't have checked over was the Kokoro program and no one can do anything with that without killing him. It's only happened a few time back home and it's going to continue in Thusia.
TL:DR, sometimes Len will believe himself to be a completely other person and without any recollection of the android Len or his connections, but this person really is just a past life him. He will also still be physically himself, it's just the memories that changed. It'll only last a short time, maybe a couple of days at best, but android Len will come back, with memories of what happened.
It should also be noted that Past Life Len is not always a very good person. :')
